Doctor Jokes

A woman goes to her doctor who verifies that she is pregnant. This is her first pregnancy. The doctor asks her if she has any questions.

She replies, "Well, I'm a little worried about the pain. How much will childbirth hurt?"

The doctor answered, "Well, that varies from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy and besides, it's difficult to describe pain."

"I know, but can't you give me some idea?" she asks.

"Grab your upper lip and pull it out a little..."

"Like this?"

"A little more..."

"Like this?"

"No. A little more..."

"Like this?"

"Yes. Does that hurt?"

"A little bit."

"Now stretch it over your head!"

A woman went to her doctor for a follow-up visit after the doctor had prescribed testosterone for her.

She was a little worried about some of the side effects she was experiencing.

"Doctor, the hormones you've been giving me have really helped, but I'm afraid that you're giving me too much. I've started growing hair in places that I've never grown hair before."

The doctor reassured her. "A little hair growth is a perfectly normal side effect of testosterone. Just where has this hair appeared?"

"On my balls."

Swine Flu: Singaporeans Should Be Prepared

By Zakaria Abdul Wahab

SINGAPORE, April 29 (Bernama) -- Singaporeans have been told to be "mentally and psychologically" prepared in facing the current global swine flu outbreak as it is expected to be a long-drawn one, the city state's top ministers said.

Deputy Prime Minister Wong Kan Seng and Health Minister Khaw Boon Wan said they also had to remain alert at all times and not to be unduly alarmed even if Singapore could possibly be hit by the flu.

Speaking at a press conference to update on the swine flu outbreak at the Information, Communications and the Arts Ministry here today, Wong said the government was treating the swine flu outbreak as not a medical problem but a total problem that required medical and non-medical response.

He said, unlike during the SARS crisis in 2003 when the government was ill-prepared to handle it, the country was now more prepared to deal with the swine flu outbreak and was deploying resources across all government departments to tackle it.

Wong said swine flu was different from SARS as the victims could not be easily identified and separated from the general public as the symptoms of the flu were only visible and known after a week.

Khaw said as the swine flu was more contagious and spread more rapidly, Singaporeans should maintain a high standard of personal hygiene such as washing their hands before eating, and covering their face when coughing or sneezing.

Describing it as a new war, he said the swine flu was more difficult to deal with and more challenging, and he gave three reasons for saying that.

Firstly, he said the swine flu was more contagious; secondly, patients could be infected before symptoms appeared, and lastly, historically, flu pandemic tended to come in waves with the initial wave looking mild but the second one could be quite lethal.

Since the global flu outbreak, only 17 cases had been referred to the local medical institutions for checks for swine flu, and so far, four of the cases were tested negative for Influenza A, the virus type associated with swine flu.-- BERNAMA

Deputy Minister Saravanan Catches HKL Doctors 'Napping'

KUALA LUMPUR, April 26 (Bernama) -- Deputy Minister of Federal Territories Datuk M. Saravanan today "caught" two doctors at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) emergency department reading newspapers and doing their own stuff instead of attending to more than 20 patients in pain waiting for treatment.

Saravanan made the shocking discovery at about 10.30am when he went to the hospital to visit a university student who was injured after he was knocked down by a car driven by his (Saravanan's) driver.

"I, too, waited for a while for the girl to be treated and, realising that none of the patients were being called in by the doctors, I opened the door to the treatment room.

I was shocked to find one doctor reading a newspaper and the other minding his own business and doing his own stuff.

"There were more than 20 patients outside waiting for treatment. This should not be the way doctors work. The patient should come first.

Furthermore, it is an emergency unit, which is supposed to be fast in dispensing treatment," the visibly irked Saravanan told Bernama.

The deputy minister said he reprimanded the doctors for their behaviour and demanded to see a superior who, he said, appeared after 30 minutes.

"After that, those waiting were promptly treated. Why couldn't the doctors attend to the patients first? This should not be the way service at government hospitals is dispensed," he said.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, in one of his surprise visits to the city centre yesterday, said he wanted front-line government establishments in the federal capital to improve their services to the people.

Saravanan said that though he had caught the doctors by chance, he would from now on make it a point to conduct surprise visits to departments under his ministry to ensure that front-line staff did their job of serving the people.

"This is an eye-opener. We, as leaders, just cannot afford to pay lip service and not check whether work is done by the front-line government servants. We have to go down (to the ground) to ensure that speedy solutions are found for the people's problems.

"What more in this case where people are in pain and undergoing agony due to the pain. If they were not suffering, they would not have come to the emergency unit. This is a lesson for all hospitals. Please work for the people if you are in the civil service," he said.

Meanwhile, HKL director Datuk Dr Zaininah Mohd Zain, in responding to Saravanan's remarks, said the hospital would get details of the incident and if there was any element of irresponsibility, it would be the first to take the appropriate action.

She said the hospital's investigation showed that there were only eight patients and 20 relatives and that none of the patients was in pain because "we practise holistic pain care service and pain (is assessed) as the fifth vital sign".

"Our hardworking doctors are but human," she said, adding that browsing a newspaper when there were no cases in his (doctor's) room should not be interpreted as neglecting his responsibility.

"We do not condone lazy or irresponsible doctors but (having) understanding, caring and hardworking doctors is also our obligation," she said in a text message to Bernama.

Dr Zaininah said the HKL Emergency Department was a very busy department that managed 550 cases per day and was served by six medical officers in every eight-hour shift (of three shifts per day) with one specialist, one consultant and one (supervising) senior consultant per day.

"The challenge of patient loads is ever increasing, up to 30 per cent due to the current economic crisis."Despite this situation, we have served well in a systematic manner with the triage system to sort out and manage cases according to priority," she said.

Dr Zaininah said HKL would continue to evaluate, supervise and maintain a high quality of service but support and understanding from the public were crucial to sustaining a high standard of service continuously.-- BERNAMA

SMS Cheats Target Professionals

PETALING JAYA, April 24 (Bernama) -- The police are on the trail of a foreign syndicate which hoodwinks unsuspecting local credit card holders into parting with their money.

The syndicate is known to use Bank Negara's name when contacting potential victims, via the short messaging service (SMS) and the telephone.

Initial investigations have revealed that it usually targeted professionals and duped them into believing they had not settled their credt card arrears.

It would also threaten to terminate their credit card services if payment was not prompt. The victims were then instructed to settle the 'arrears' by banking the money in a foreign bank account.

Petaling Jaya police chief ACP Arjunaidi Mohamed said the police had received about 20 reports relating to the scam, since early this year.

He said that of late, such scams were being carried out almost daily, with the biggest involving a professional who was fleeced of RM43,000.

Arjunaidi was speaking to reporters after opening the new commercial crime and narcotics division at Menara Choi Fok On here.

He said the syndicate was able to dupe victims by using Bank Negara's name when they contacted the victims through the SMS and telephone.

Arjunaidi said the police were unable to track down the syndicate as it changed bank accounts from time to time to avoid detection by the authorities.-- BERNAMA

The women, aged 68 and 43, were waiting for their factory van at a bus stop in Jalan Kem in Port Klang at 6.30am when a car stopped in front of them.

Toy boy clubs for the rich and jaded

TOY boys are the new craze in Singapore nightclubs, Sin Chew Daily and China Press reported.

The newspapers reported yesterday that rich men’s wives did not mind paying the toy boys RM3,500 each to spend an evening with them.

If the women want to bring the boys out for supper, they will be charged RM350 an hour.

A regular patron, Madam Wang, 42, said she had to visit the toy boy clubs daily, failing which she would feel uneasy.

Admitting that her family would break up if her businessman husband found out about her “hobby”, Madam Wang said she could not keep herself away from the clubs.

When met by reporters at a club, Madam Wang was with a Thai toy boy.

She said: “He makes me feel young, something which my husband fails to do.”

Checks with several toy boys found that they also offer sexual services if asked by the women.

A popular toy boy may earn about RM4,600 a night, said one of them.

> Sin Chew Daily also reported that a Filipina maid in Singapore threatened suicide after footages of her bullying her employer’s two-year-old son were shown to her.

The footages were recorded using CCTV installed by her employer.

The images showed the maid using her right hand to cover the boy’s mouth because the toddler refused to stop crying.

Vehicles sold but still in owners’ names

KUANTAN: Some 1.3 million vehicles sold by their original owners have been found to be still registered in their names.

Road Transport Department (JPJ) director-general Datuk Solah Mat Hassan said that as a result, the department received a monthly average of five complaints from original owners in every state.

Most involve receiving fines for parking and speeding offences even though the vehicles had been sold.

“We view this matter seriously. Compli-cations arise when such vehicles are involved in accidents or are used to commit crimes,” he told reporters after chairing a dialogue with car dealers, insurance firms and financial institutions here yesterday.

Solah said the frequent excuse given by used car dealers to delay the transfer of ownership was that they were waiting for buyers.

He said the JPJ was in the midst of finalising an electronic interim transfer of ownership system.
Once fully operational by the end of this year, such delay in transferring ownership would not be allowed.

“The Malaysian Used Cars Associations have given their undertaking to transfer ownership within the seven-day time frame once the new system is up and operational,” he said.

He said those who failed to do so could face a fine of up to RM2,000.

Solah said the Government had allocated a sum of RM400mil to change all computers and upgrade the entire system to improve JPJ’s delivery system.

On Datuk Seri Ong Tee Keat’s reappointment as Transport Minister, Solah said Ong would certainly continue to work hard in discharging his duties.

“I wish to congratulate him and pledge to give our full support and co-operation,” he said

How long should a guy wait to call after the first date??

This can be a very difficult thing for a guy to know. They can become nervous about giving the wrong impression by calling too quickly or too late.

The “Old School Rule” would suggest that you wait exactly two days before calling her back. In today’s world there really is not set rule on when to call a girl back. It all depends on how the date went and what kind of connection the two of you made. If the date went really well you probably want to call sooner rather than later. If the date was just ok or she didn’t really open up then you might want to wait a little longer before calling her again. More than week of not calling tends to be a little too long in most situations.

Another option to calling is text messaging. A simple text message saying that you enjoyed hanging out last night can be a nice bridge between the first date and the first call. This could technically be done in a email as well but it can be a little too impersonal of a follow-up after a first date.

The truth is that there really is no set rule on when to call her after a date. Listen to what your gut tells you and enjoy getting to know someone new!

Kelantan Mungkin Tarik Diri Dari Liga Malaysia

13 Rabiul Akhir 14309

April 2009

YB Encik Nga Kor Ming
EXCO Kerajaan Negeri Perak
Pejabat EXCO Negeri Perak
30000 IpohPERAK DARUL RIDZUAN.

Saya mempunyai sebuah impian.

FAM Denda Kafa RM90,000 Kerana Insiden Buruk

Paris Hilton Getting Married?

Getting Married is "HOT"

Doesn't seem like Paris Hilton and her athlete boyfriend Doug Reinhardt have been dating that long. However, that's not stopping the rumors from flying around that they are planning to get married this summer. Who started these rumors? Paris.

Last weekend, Paris told E! Online's Hollywood Party Girl that Doug is "going to be my husband." Did she mean this year? Well, now other sources claiming to be close to the couple are saying that they are thinking of getting married in August in the Bahamas.
Sounds like there are no set plans and something tells me that Paris Hilton isn't an 'elope on the beach' kind of gal. She seems more like someone who would plan an elaborate wedding while keeping the media in the loop and take advantage of those precious photo opportunities.

But, I could be wrong.

Claiming to feel sleepy, the suspect then made the victim ride the motorcycle back to their house in Taman Permai, Jeram, while he rode pillion.

It was then that he took advantage of her.

When the stunned victim slapped and scolded him, the suspect threatened to hurt her if she told the family.

Kemenangan 2-1

Rakyat membuktikan kertas undi mereka amat bernilai.

BN sepatutnya mula sedar kenapa prestasi mereka semakin teruk.

Akhirnya...

Calon PAS Datuk Seri Ir Mohamad Nizar Jamaluddin menang pada pilihan raya kecil untuk mengisi kekosongan kerusi Dewan Rakyat kawasan Bukit Gantang. Sekaligus, kemenangan Ir Nizar memberi gambaran jelas bahawa pengundi Bukit Gantang memberi isyarat bahawa mereka menyokongnya selaku Menteri Besar Perak yang sah.

Laporan sebentar tadi

Keputusan tidak rasmi, calon PAS, Datuk Seri Ir Mohd Nizar Jamaluddin dipercayai telah memenangi pilihan raya kecil kawasan Bukit Gantang dengan majoriti 3,022 undi, lapor G Manimaran dari mSTAR.Online.

Mohd Nizar memperolehi 18,891 undi. Sementara calon Barisan Nasional (BN) mendapat 15,859 undi manakala calon Bebas, Kamarul Ramizu mendapat 51 undi.

Contest lures teens to write about their sexual experiences

WRITE a 3,000-word essay and win RM150 – only sex stories are accepted. These were the conditions of a writing competition for secondary students, reported Harian Metro.

A publishing house behind the competition stated that students must write their true sexual experiences. The company has printed at least 10 racy novels in the market.

The competition rules were printed at the back cover of its books, which are sold between RM8 and RM10 each at bookstores.

A father, identified as Hisham, 48, said he was shocked to discover books that had pictures of half-naked girls on its cover under his child’s bed.

“When I flipped through the pages, I was shocked to find 11 short sex stories compiled to form a novel,” he said.

> Vice activities are back at the dark alleys of Jalan Bukit Ubi and Jalan Wong Ah Jang, reported Kosmo!.

A check by the newspaper showed that customers are flocking to the areas near the entertainment centres where prostitutes were seen in the alleys offering sexual services to passers-by from night till early morning.

The women would then bring the customers to a rented room in a shoplot nearby to have sex. A prostitute, known as Lisa, said she charged only RM60 for sex.

Another prostitute said her customers come by cars, motorcycles and some even walk there.
A pedestrian who usually pass by the area said the vice activities became more rampant a few months ago.

“If there is no demand, we would not have prostitutes plying their trade here,” he said.

Hari penentuan

Rakyat sekarang semakin bijak memilih.

Sikap mencerminkan keperibadian kita.

Transsexual Gang Kidnaps Boys For Flesh Trade

By P. Vijian

CHENNAI, April 5 (Bernama) -- Police in Tamil Nadu are working on a theory that a transexual gang operating in south India is luring young boys and forcing them to undergo sex change operation and later engage them in prostitution.

Although initial details are sketchy, police in Chennai said two such cases had surfaced recently, after a retired doctor was arrested in Kadapa in Andra Pradesh yesterday, making them believe a transgender gang is behind the heinous crime.

"We arrested the doctor from Kadapa and he admitted of helping the transsexual group. He has done 40 to 50 operations on boys to change their sex.

"We are also working on this angle, of a transgender gang involved in luring young boys and forcing them to change their sex and later lure them into prostitution to earn money," Chennai deputy inspector-general of police (crime investigation division) S.N. Seshasai told Bernama today.

On Friday, Chennai police arrested the 75-year-old doctor, wanted for castrating a 16-year-old by from Tamil Nadu last year, suspected to be under the order of the gang who later kidnapped the minor to Pune, where he was abused to beg and work as a prostitute.

"The doctor had been doing this (surgery) for 17 years since he retired. He said he does about two to three surgeries on boys every year. He removes their male organs and turn them into a female. He is on remand now," added Seshasai.

The 16-year-old victim, who managed to escape from Pune and returned to his family, is currently undergoing medical treatment.

An estimated 30,000 transgender persons live in Tamil Nadu and there are more than half a million of them across India.-- BERNAMA

Chennai man kills wife, has sex with dead body

CHENNAI: In a ghastly incident, a wayward husband killed his breadwinner wife of 10 years for refusing to have sex with him and is then alleged to have had intercourse with the dead body.

The murder happened in Poonamellee, about 15km from this southern Indian city, when the jobless 34-year-old accused, Subash Krishnan returned home drunk last Thursday at about 1.30pm and demanded sex from his wife.

The victim, Shanti, 28, who supports the family by selling fruit juice on a pushcart, chided her husband for frequently demanding sex and failing to help out the family financially.

Infuriated by the rejection, the intoxicated husband allegedly assaulted Shanti and when she fell down and became unconscious, strangled her using a skipping rope.

“The accused admitted to both the crimes and the investigation confirms he had sex after murdering her.

“We are still waiting for the postmortem report and will know what exactly happened. He is in jail now,” Inspector N. Velavan of Poonamalle police station told Bernama Sunday.

The man is alleged to have had sex with the wife’s dead body and even inflicted injuries by biting her.

Velavan said one of the accused children discovered their mother’s dead body after returning from school and informed his uncle who called in the police.

Schoolgirls linked to gang may be expelled

JOHOR BARU: Two female students of the Bandar Penawar Sports School who were arrested on suspicion of being involved with a rape and robbery gang may face expulsion.

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said the ministry’s investigations would be completed soon.

“However, the ministry’s action will depend on the outcome of the investigation,” he said, adding that the students, aged 15 and 16, had been released by police and were back in school.

He said the girls were undergoing athletics training in school.

Dr Wee said it was possible that the girls were not involved in the crime and were merely coaxed into joining the gang.

“However, the incident occurred during the school holidays so we will probe further on why the students did not go home but were found with the gang instead,” he told newsmen after launching the SMK IJ Convent’s excellent awards ceremony yesterday.

On March 23, seven suspects involved in multiple robberies and rapes in three states were caught after police searched 14 homes in Taman Muhibah, Kluang.

Police also detained three women, aged 18 to 20, who were married to three of the suspects, and the two students.

Meanwhile, Dr Wee urged all parties to stop blaming the teacher or the school for the death of Chan Qi Xian, a pupil of SJK (C) Kampung Baru Tiong near Gemas in Negri Sembilan.

He said the boy’s parents and the police had stated that it was not the fault of the teacher who had caned the boy.

“The boy died of a ruptured brain tumour. I urge all parents to inform the school of their children’s illnesses so that the school administrators will know,’’ he said.

On Tuesday, Qi Xian was brought to the Segamat Hospital after he complained of a severe headache following caning by his teacher. he was later referred to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital here.

On allegations that the second hospital had turned away the boy, Johor Health Department director Dr Mohd Khairi Yakub said doctors at the hospital had run several tests including a CT scan which showed that Qi Xian’s condition was critical.

“The parents agreed to take the boy home after extensive discussions with our hospital specialists, he said.

DISGUSTED with her father’s “dirty” habit, a daughter told police about his pornographic DVD collection.

A police team raided their house in Kuantan and found 85 DVDs hidden behind the back seat in the man’s car.

According to Harian Metro, the 15-year-old schoolgirl lodged the report at around 3pm on Wednesday after she found the cache of DVDs in her father’s car. The girl said she was “disgusted” with her father’s habit.

It is understood that the father, a security guard in his 40s, would watch the DVDs when the girl’s mother was not at home.

The man could not explain to the police why there were so many DVDs in his car. Police are investigating if the man is part of a syndicate distributing pornographic DVDs.

She was “lucky” because the assailants were apparently not interested in her and “dumped” her in a 1m-deep drain near the Subang toll plaza at around 11pm. Passers-by later sent the girl to a nearby police station.

Nurul Nazeha, from Kampung Melayu Subang, said the assailants wore black masks and warned her to keep quiet.

Gadis seksi pancing undi BN?

Majlis makan malam perpaduan dihadiri kira-kira 1,500 orang.

Six-year gap between mum and daughter

SINAR Harian has questioned the six-year age gap between a mother and her daughter from Sarawak.

Reni Tugik who is 83 years old according to her identification card, has a daughter, Kanching Jalong aged 77. This meant that she got married at the age of six.

However, Kanching believes her mother did not get married at that age.

“I believe that my mother (Reni) is now more than 90 years old. Her age is stated so because she had registered late,” Kanching said. Reni could have married at the age of 13.

Kanching said there could be some confusion in determining her mother’s date of birth because she did not have a birth certificate at that time when an identity card was issued to her.

Kanching also said that she and her mother would still vote in the Batang Ai by-election.

Disciplinary problems become a serious concern

> Disciplinary problems among students are becoming a serious concern as 3,725 students were arrested for various offences involving 2,218 crime cases throughout the country, Harian Metro reported.

The figure was up from 1,836 cases in 2007 involving 3,383 students aged between 13 and 18 years.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said that the situation was dire and had to be tackled immediately.

He said studies conducted by the Malay-sian Institute of Research for Youth Development found that students in this age group were involved in various crimes such as murder, rape, robbery and theft.

“Studies conducted by Malaysian Studies on Psychology and Development centre showed that 87% of the ‘mat rempit’ in the country were mostly students aged between 14 and 25 years,” he said in Kuala Lumpur.

Menteri malu suami tonton filem lucah

Flirty GROs offer linguistic services

GUEST relations officers (GROs) in Johor Baru are now offering two-in-one services — they not only provide sex but also English lessons, reported Kosmo!

In a bid to remain competitive, the GROs are playing the extra role of English tutors to help clients brush up their skills in the language.

A source said the GROs realised that most of their clients were not fluent in the language and decided to add the extra service to help their clients communicate better in English.
According to the source, the extra service does not have a fixed price and payment was at the discretion of the client.

“After falling for the flirtatious ways of the GROs and the extra English lessons, the client usually comes back to the entertainment centre to seek their services,” he said.

> A woman who was raped twice by an African man did not lodge a police report because she was afraid and too busy with work, reported Harian Metro.

The 36-year-old who lives in an apartment at Batu 9, Cheras, had advertised on the Internet that a room was available for rent and the suspect moved in in December last year.

The victim alleged that she was raped on Feb 21 when she was at home with the suspect, and it happened again two days later.

A police source said she refused to make a police report because she was afraid that she would be raped yet again.

The man moved out of the house in early March without his belongings.

She lodged a police report last Wednesday that she was raped and threatened after she started receiving calls from a woman saying she would kill her and her child.

When police asked the victim why she waited to make the report, she not only replied that she was afraid but because there was just too much work in the office that had kept her busy.
